Syensqo (Solvay Specialty Polymers) Catalyst PS/4LR Catalyst PS/4LR Polyolefin  (discontinued **)
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer; Polymer

Material Notes: Catalyst PS/4LR is a PE based catalyst masterbatch, which accelerates the crosslinking reaction of the pipe product during its curing process that can take place by exposure of the pipe to water or steam at high temperature. Catalyst PS/4LR contains a processing aid and a lower reactive agent which in certain conditions improves processing.

Additional Information: Above values are typical averages Use and Dosage Catalyst PS/4LR shall be used together with the silane-crosslinkable POLIDAN® compounds in the ratio of 5 to 95 parts respectively. The two components shall be mixed together before the extrusion or continuously during the process with the use of automatic feeders. Usually there is no need to pre-dry the catalyst masterbatch. Colouring Catalyst PS/4LR and POLIDAN® compounds can be used with good quality PE based colour masterbatches. Solvay Specialty Polymers suggests to pre-dry any colour masterbatches prior to use. Storage The product shall be stored under the following conditions: - Closed and unbroken bags - Ambient temperature not exceeding 40°C - Indoor in order to avoid direct exposure to sunlight The product could undergo alterations due to extended period of storage. Solvay Specialty Polymers suggests the product use within 12 months from the production date printed on the packaging. Solvay Specialty Polymers accepts no liability of any kind in case the above mentioned conditions are not fulfilled. Packaging Catalyst PS/4LR is supplied in 25 kg bags placed on pallets.
