CHR® 2300 is manufactured from UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) polyolefin film coated with rubber adhesive. Features/Benefits: CHR® 2300 exhibits excellent abrasion resistance and it has a low coefficient of friction, making it an excellent protection for surfaces or bearings that experience heavy wear. CHR® 2300 is more economical than PTFE tapes. The high-temperature, high-tack rubber adhesive adheres readily to most dry, clean surfaces, firmly anchoring the product in place. Applications: 2300 tapes can be used to provide an abrasion-resistant, anti-stick, anti-friction surface at temperatures up to 107 °C. CHR® 2300 is frequently used to line chutes and conveyors. CHR® 2300 is often applied to guide rails to reduce noise levels in glass bottling plants. This tape is also used to replace desk drawer bearings to provide silky smooth, friction-free drawer movement. Information provided by Saint Gobain Performance Products. |
