Rulon Bearings

Lehvoss LUVOCOM® 1850/GF/30/TF/13/SI/2 PBT with glass fiber, PTFE, lubricant modified
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP; Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)

Material Notes: Properties/attributes include: Improved friction and wear behavior. Emergency (dry) running property. High dimensionally stable precision parts, even at elevated temperatures and narrow tolerance range. Parts for electric and electronic industry.

Automotive industry, textile- and office machinery, apparatus- and precision engineering. Typical uses include: Coil formers, duty parts in plugs and switches, even combined with metal inserts.

Processing: During processing the moisture level should not exceed 0.02%, otherwise molecular degradation and surface defects (e.g. smearing) may occur. As the material absorbs water very quickly, the predried material should be fed to the processing immediately. Processing temperatures above 270°C may very rapidly cause thermal damage and should therefore be avoided. The processing notes provided merely represent a recommendation for general use. Due to the large variety of machines, geometries and volumes of parts, etc., it may be necessary to employ different settings according to the specific application.
