LyondellBasell Petrothene® NA340185 Low Density Polyethylene, Film Extrusion Grade
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Ethylene Vinyl Acetate; Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer (EVA), Film Grade

Material Notes: PETROTHENE NA340 is a series of LDPE/EVA copolymer resins designed for quality bags and special film applications that require clarity and excellent impact strength. Typical applications include heavy produce, textile and frozen food packaging. High Slip and Antiblock.

Regulatory Status: NA340 resins meet the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration regulation 21 CFR 177.1350. This regulation allows the use of this ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer "...in articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food." Specific limitations or conditions of use may apply.

NA340 resins are processed readily by standard blown film extrusion techniques. A processing melt temperature of 330°-375°F (165°-191°C) is suggested for this resin.

This product is from the former Equistar product line.
