Material Notes: Quentys™ SF700CL is a polyolefin based talcum filled compound. SF700CL in combination with other PP based compounds improves the recyclability of PV modules.

Special Features: Quentys SF700CL has a good dimensional and thermal stability, and displays a high resistance to hydrolysis under hot and humid conditions. Quentys SF700CL is furthermore resistant to UV without protective fluorinated layers and demonstrates good adhesion to Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) encapsulant film.

Applications: Quentys SF700CL is suitable for (thick) film extrusion for core layer in solar backsheet application.

Specifications: Quentys SF700CL when used as core layer is expected to meet the backsheet requirements included in the below mentioned standards provided it is processed using sound material handling, extrusion practices as well as appropriate testing procedures. EN ISO 4892-2; IEC 60215-2: 2016; IEC 60216-5; IEC 60243-1; IEC 60664-1: 2007 clause 6, 1, 3, 5; IEC 61730-2: 2016; IEC 62701 clause 7, 8, 10; IEC 62716 clause 7, 8, 10
