Saint-Gobain CHR® K104 Polyimide Film Backing Silicone Adhesive Pressure Sensitive Tape

Material Notes: CHR® K104 is manufactured from polyimide film with high-temperature silicone adhesive.

Features/Benefits: CHR® K104 has excellent mechanical and electrical properties as well as a high conformability. CHR® K104 offers outstanding resistance to cut-through, and is impact and abrasion resistant. They also offer excellent dielectric strength, while the burning of the adhesive forms a non-conductive ash. This material meets the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Guide OANZ2 and File E51201 specifications with a 180 °C temperature rating, and it complies with UL510 for a flame retardant. The polyimide backing meets MIL-P-46112B.

Applications: CHR® K104 is constructed to fill the requirements of a high performance thermoplastic polyimide backing materials. CHR® K104 is designed to fill the various needs of electrical insulation requirements.
