Mallard Creek Polymers Rovene® 4019 Carboxylated Styrene-Butadiene Emulsion
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE); Styrene Butadiene Rubber

Material Notes: ROVENE® 4019 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a firm hand with excellent strength properties. This binder is a low VOC containing latex that is cross-linkable with external cross-linking agents. ROVENE® 4019 imparts good wet/dry tensile strength, and has good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces.
ROVENE® 4019 is recommended for use in paper and paperboard coatings where a high degree of grease, oil and water resistance is needed. It can also be used in applications where excellent water vapor transmission resistance is needed, such as interior primer sealers, paper and paperboard coatings. It may also be formulated into adhesives for paper-topaper, paper-to-film, and foil-to-paper. It may be used in adhesive and coating applications where clearance under FDA 175.105, 176.170 and 176.180 is needed.
