Product Description: Akroform NDBC-75/EPR/P is a 75% dispersion of Nickel bis(dibutyldithiocarbamate) in an EPR polymeric binder. It is used as a heat stabilizer for chlorosulfonated polyethylene in the cable industry and is also effective as a heat stabilizer and antiozonant in epichlorohydrin (ECO) rubbers. Akroform NDBC-75 is recommended for improving the weathering characteristics of nitrile, EPDM and polychloroprene compounds. Non-black compounds may take on a greenish cast due to the NBC’s natural color The recommended level for all applications except ECO is 2 phr of active material, i.e. 2.5-3.0 phr NDBC. NDBC will bloom from ECO between 0.5 and 0.8 phr of active material. Advantages: Polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, efficiency, quality & raw material control. Akrochem polymer bound or encapsulated chemical dispersions eliminate any irritating dust, as well as other potential hazards in handling powders in the plant. The physical form is easy to handle and weigh accurately. With a dispersion, better uniformity of the mix at lower processing temperatures is possible. Information provided by Akrochem Corporation |
