Covestro Baytec® RTC V85 Component A Polyurethane
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS

Material Notes: Characterization: Baytec RTC-V85 Component A is a four component, 100%-solid rotational casting system, which can make urethane elastomers in a range of hardness (72 to 93 Shore A).

Properties / Applications: Baytec RTC-V85 Component A is a four component, 100%-solid rotational casting system, which can make urethane elastomers in a range of hardness (72 to 93 Shore A)*. The isocyanate component is a modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) prepolymer, and the three polyol components are polyether polyol blends. The system is a special, fast reacting system designed to be cast on rotating roll cores using the rotational casting technique. Typical applications are on rolls for the paper, textile, and steel industries and belt rollers. This system can be pigmented to most any color. As with any product, use of the Baytec RTC-V85 Component A in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
