Mid-Mountain Materials HYTEX® 1000 Fiberglass Industrial Textile
Categories: Ceramic; Glass; Glass Fiber; Other Engineering Material; Composite Fibers

Material Notes: Description: Hytex® is the trademark for the textile products manufactured by Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc. Hytex high performance textile products are manufactured from various yarns of varying chemistry and in differing configurations (cloth, tape, sleeving, rope etc.). Mid-Mountain can design hybrid materials by blending most any combination of yarns.

HYTEX® 1000 textiles are manufactured from fiberglass yam capable of resisting heat up to 1000ºF. Available as cloth, tape, sleeving, and rope, HYTEX® 1000 are either woven, knitted, or braided to meet a wide variety of end uses. HYTEX® 1000 fiberglass textile products provide the advantages of asbestos products without the risk of use. They will not burn, smolder, shrink, rot, or mildew.
