Teknor Apex Telcar® OBC 4985F Thermoplastic Elastomer
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Elastomer, TPE

Material Notes: Notes: Telcar OBC has superior mechanical strength and higher elongation which will provide a tougher more durable finished product. Telcar OBC can be used in less demanding sealing applications. Telcar OBC 4900 series compounds contain UV stabilization to provide general weathering resistance - the customer should verify if this is sufficient for the application. Telcar OBC 4900 series compounds will have a smoother, more glossy surface compared to Uniprene when extruded. Extrusion die swell is likely to be different from TPV's due to different chemistries used. F suffix denotes 'filled' compound, indicated by density. A suffix denotes grades available without filler at a density of 0.89. Compounds supplied in natural color or black. Precoloring is available upon request.
