Thermal Ceramics Min-K Type HT Insulating Tape
Categories: Ceramic

Material Notes: Flexible Min-K insulating tape is constructed of Min-K core material enclosed with heat-resistant fabrics stitched in parallel pattern. Available in a range of widths and thicknesses, the tape provides the many advantages of flexible Min-K blankets, enabling it to achieve maximum insulating effect in minimum space.

Min-K tape has a lower thermal conductivity than the molecular conductivity of still air, as well as significantly reduced conductivity at high attitudes. It is particularly effective in controlling thermal transients and provides high resistance to potential damage from compression and vibration.

Features:

  • Easy to use
  • Flexible
  • Variety of thicknesses and sizes
  • Applications

  • Fuel, oil and hydraulic lines
  • Ducts
  • Compressors and de-icing equipment
  • High temperature tubing and piping systems
  • A variety of hard-to-insulate areas where weight is critical and working space is minimal
