Material Notes: Durimphy is a structured hardening maraging type martensitic alloy. Durimphy has a very high yield strength, is hardened by ageing treatment (3 hours at 480°C) without any dimensional change and has a very good fatigue resistance. Main applications are springs for watch industry, springs for various applications, belts for CVT transmission, rocket fins.
