LyondellBasell Moplen HP564R Polypropylene, Fiber Grade  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polypropylene (PP); Polypropylene, Fiber Grade

Material Notes: LyondellBasell Australia’s Polypropylene grade HP564R is a high flow homopolymer. HP564R has been designed for the production of fine to medium denier fibers and has the exceptional color stability required for such textile applications. It is known that certain stabilizers in polypropylene can react with the spinning lubricants used when the fibers are processed. This may cause a light-fugitive discoloration of the fibers. HP564R contains additives that minimize the risk of discoloration reactions of this nature, however it is recommended that trials are progressed to establish suitability for each specific process. HP564R also contains a HALS UV stabilization additive. Applications: Bulk Continuous Filament & Continuous Filament.
