Hapco Filter-bond™ E - 3503 Thermoset
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset

Material Notes: Filter-bond™ E-3503 is a two-component, semi-rigid, extremely tough elastomer. Filter-bond™ E-3503 has a high viscosity(40,000 cps) and is appropriate where low wicking is required. The most common applications for E-3503 are potting and sealing filter media.

Filter-bond™ was developed specifically for filtration and ultrafiltration applications. This series includes products that do not contain aromatic amines or carcinogenic or mutagenic materials, systems that can be used to pot moist membrane material in place without foaming, and materials that are easily trimmed when used for pre-potting filters. Filter-bond™ includes a line of flexible and rigid materials to meet a wide variety of filtration applications. All Filter-bond™ products are compatible with Hapco’s MiniFIL™ and RapidFIL™ dispensing machines, which are used for potting or encapsulating various filter media. Hapco’s urethanes and epoxies are widely used in filtration and ultrafiltration manufacturing for sealing, bonding, potting or encapsulating:
