Wacker Elastosil® R plus 4846/30 Silicone Rubber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Silicone; Silicone Rubber

Material Notes: HTV silicone rubbers of the grade ELASTOSIL® R plus 4846/30 are oil-bleeding one-component PT-curing compounds for the manufacture of molded articles. The vulcanizates are opaque and form a thin oil film with lubricating properties shortly after the curing process. As the crosslinking system is based on platinum cure no peroxide decomposition products can be formed during curing.

Application: The grade is suitable for the manufacture of molded articles for technical applications. Specially thick walled articles can take advantage of the fast curing material.
