Material Notes: Mondur 1522 is a low to medium functionality polymeric based on diphenylmethane-diisocyanate (MDI) with a moderately high 2,4 ’-MDI isomer content.

Properties / Applications: Mondur 1522 polyisocyanate is used primarily as a foundry core binder. Mondur 1522 can also be considered as a candidate for high solids, two-component coating formulations where light stability is not required, and in adhesive applications calling for polyurethane bonding agents. As with any product, use of Mondur 1522 in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
