Special Metals INCONEL® Alloy G-3
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Nickel Alloy; Superalloy

Material Notes: A nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. It has good weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion in the welded condition. The low carbon content helps prevent sensitization and consequent intergranular corrosion of weld heat-affected zones. Use for flue-gas scrubbers and for handling phosphoric and sulfuric acids. Standard product forms are round, plate, sheet, strip, pipe, tube, and wire.

Data provided by the manufacturer, Special Metals.

Key Words: ASME SB-581, SB-582, SB-619, SB-622, SB-626, Boiler Code Sections VIII, IX; DIN 17744, 17750 - 17752; Werkstoff Nr. 2.46, Nickel-Chromium Alloy; UNS N06895; ASTM B 581, B 582, B 619, B 622, B 626, B 751; NACE MR-01-75
