3M Scotch® 8919MSR Filament Tape
Categories: Polymer; Adhesive

Material Notes: Scotch® Filament Tape 8919MSR is a high-performance transparent filament tape reinforced along its length with continuous fiberglass-yarn filaments, which gives the tape a very high tensile strength. The tape is designed to hold a variety of metal appliance parts together during manufacture and shipping. The heavy clear polyester film backing provides greater stiffness and excellent abrasion, moisture, and scuff resistance. The pressure sensitive modified synthetic rubber resin adhesive is specifically formulated to provide high adhesion to oily metal surfaces, clean removal, and stain resistance on a wide variety of surfaces.
