Sumitomo Bakelite Durez® 29421 Phenolc Resin

Material Notes: Durez 29421 is an oil-soluble, thermoplastic tackifier resin supplied in flake form. Durez 29421 is recommended to be used in tire manufacturing for tread and butt splicing cements. Durez 29421 is compatible with various synthetic elastomers including SBR, Butyl, Chlorobutyl, cis-Polybutadiene, SBR-BR blends, Polyisoprene, NBR and Neoprene rubbers. When used with these elastomers or elastomer blends, it functions as both a plasticizer and a tackifier imparting excellent building tack properties to tire and mechanical goods compounds employing plied-up construction.
