Lehmann & Voss LUVOCOM® 3/CF/30 VP Polyamide 6 with carbon fiber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Nylon (Polyamide PA); Nylon 6 (PA6)

Material Notes: Properties/attributes include: Very strong and stiff parts; low coefficient of thermal expansion. Dynamic-stress and wear-resistant parts. Electrically conductive, suitable for continuous discharging of statically-generated electricity.

Automotive industry, textile machinery, apparatus- and precision engineering. Typical uses include: Handles, levers, rollers, extrusion profiles.

Processing: During processing the moisture level should not exceed 0.1%, otherwise molecular degradation and surface defects (e.g. smearing) may occur. Excessively high predrying temperatures may cause discoloration. The processing notes provided merely represent a recommendation for general use. Due to the large variety of machines, geometries and volumes of parts, etc., it may be necessary to employ different settings according to the specific application.
