Polyplastics TOPAS® 9506F-500 Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC)

Material Notes: TOPAS® 9506F-500 is a high clarity extrusion grade for use in shrink, food and medical packaging as either a discrete layer in multilayer film or in blends with polyethylene. It is designed to deliver high shrinkage at low temperatures in shrink packaging applications. It has low glass transition temperature and provides excellent clarity, stiffness, water vapor barrier and good thermoformability.

  • Shrink films and labels: High shrink at low temperatures, low stress, toughness
  • Food packaging: Not manufactured with BPA, phthalates, or halogens
  • Food contact: Broad regulatory approval
