Material Notes: Polystyrene microgranulates in the form of very-fine beads with dimensions: 500 - 1000 µm are characterized by a very large surface area in relation to their weight. These products are used as: matrices for the mixing, dispersion or dissolution, and binding of additives used later as colour additives or masterbatches, as reagents, for SMC applications, where the microgranulate is dissolved in styrene, as an additive in rubber products, for injections and use in moulding boards.
