Alliance HP-34 Radially Oriented NdFeB Magnet
Categories: Metal; Electronic/Magnetic Alloy

Material Notes: The technology for producing rare earth ring magnets with radial magnetic fields has been around for decades, however the cost of manufacturing them come to a point where the magnets are an affordable replacement to traditional multi segmented arcs. There are three main manufacturing methods for producing bonded and sintered radial oriented rings: Anisotropic Pressure Molding, Hot Pressing & Backward Extrusion, and Radial Rotating Field Alignment. Each of these methods produces magnets with certain advantages and disadvantages over the others.
