Borealis Polycure™ PC780 Flame Retardant Crosslinking Polyethylene Compound for Low Voltage Insulation  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE)

Material Notes: Polycure PC780 is a natural, chemically crosslinking polyethylene compound designed for flame retardant low voltage wire insulation and jacketing. PC780 contains a halogen-based, flame retardant additive package designed to reduce normal PE flame spread characteristics and achieve a VW-1 flame resistant rating on 14 AWG wires and larger.

Polycure PC780 is recommended for use in 600 volt power cable and control cable applications. It is also UL approved in applications with oil and gasoline exposure and is suitable for 90°C service in wet conditions.
