Quantum Composites QC-8151C 55% Glass Fiber Vinyl Ester Static-Dissipative SMC  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Composite SMC; Filled/Reinforced Thermoset; Vinyl Ester; Vinyl Ester Sheet Molding Compound

Material Notes: QC-8151C is a vinyl ester sheet molding compound (SMC) designed for compression molding components requiring dimensional stability, resistance to high temperatures plus sufficient electrical conductivity to dissipate static charge. It also offers excellent chemical resistance, light weight, low heat absorption and high strength at both room and elevated temperatures. This electrical conductivity is built into and throughout the composite. It is designed to mold and cure at lower temperatures than QC-8150C. Form and Color = Rolled Sheet, Gray. Glass Fiber Length = 1 inch.

A. Schulman has acquired Quantum Composites.
