Material Notes: Hifax polypropylene resins based on the Catalloy process are used in applications such as building and construction (e.g., single-ply roofing), industrial applications (e.g., wire and cable), and automotive industries. Hifax priovides good processability, excellent impact resistance, a broad range of stiffness from very soft to rigid products, high temperature resistance and low linear coefficient of thermal expansion.

Hifax CA387PC 848T high melt flow, medium low flexural modulus thermoplastic elastomeric olefin (TEO) resin has an excellent balance of impact, stiffness, processability and paintability. It is based on material produced from LyondellBasell’s proprietary Catalloy process and is typically used for automotive bumper fascias that require high durability. Applications: Automotive Parts, Bumpers, Exterior Automotive Applications.
