PolyChem Alloy PolyFoam 4006F
Categories: Polymer

Material Notes: PolyFoam decomposes when heated to create a uniform microcellular structure. It can be used in extrusion and injection molding processes to reduce weight in parts without adversely affecting the physical properties. Other benefits include the elimination of sink marks and an improved surface quality. For foamed extrusions, PolyFoam used in combination with a gas blowing agent improves the efficiency of the physical agent, reducing of gas usage, part weight, and often scrap. PolyFoam products come in a uniform pelletized shape and are available with endothermic blowing agents, exothermic blowing agents, or both.
