Material Notes: Characterization: Baytec GS-V85A is a two-component, one-shot system that yields a solid polyurethane elastomer.

Properties / Applications: Baytec GS-V85A is a two-component, one-shot system that yields a solid polyurethane elastomer. The isocyanate component is an isocyanate-terminated (MDI) polyester prepolymer, and the polyol component is a polyethylene/polybutylene adipate diol. The Baytec GS-V85A system is used in the production of cast polyurethane elastomers. As with any product, use of the Baytec GS-V85A system in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) in advance by the user to determine suitability.

Formula 1: Isocyanate: 47.5 pbw; Polyol: 95 pbw; 1,4-Butone Diol: 5 pbw;

Formula 2: Isocyanate: 60 pbw; Polyol: 92.5 pbw; 1,4-Butone Diol: 7.5 pbw;

Formula 3: Isocyanate: 72 pbw; Polyol: 90 pbw; 1,4-Butone Diol: 10 pbw;

Formula 4: Isocyanate: 97 pbw; Polyol: 85 pbw; 1,4-Butone Diol: 15 pbw;

Formula 5: Isocyanate: 121 pbw; Polyol: 80 pbw; 1,4-Butone Diol: 50 pbw;
