Material Notes: Product description: TEGO® Sorb PY 88 TQ is used for the production of masterbatches and compounds.

Application: TEGO® Sorb A 30 excellent odour absorbing properties makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Properties / Benefits: Its excellent odor absorbing properties (it is no flavor such as vanilla) makes TEGO® Sorb PY 88 TQ especially suitable for the effective control of odours evolving from products like hydrogen sulfide, mercaptane, thioether, isovaleric acid, amines and ammonia. Beside the excellent odor absorber effect TEGO® Sorb PY 88 TQ provides a good heat stability in the compounding process. Compatibility with other chemicals has to be checked for each particular case and application. TEGO® Sorb PY 88 TQ is especially suitable for polyolefins (e. g. LDPE, PP), rubber compounds (e. g. vulcanized TPE-V or EPDM) and recycled material (e.g. PA, polyolefins and rubber). TEGO® Sorb PY 88 TQ reduces odor during dispersing of Ultramarines, Yellow pigments and oxidized Carbon Blacks. For special SBR rubber emulsions or acrylates with malodor an aqueous formulation of TEGO® Sorb PY 88 TQ is available.
