Material Notes: KANTHAL 145 R 10 is a thermostatic bimetal which is recommended for use in the temperature range -20 to +250°C. In extreme cases it can be used at temperatures up to a maximum of +400°C.

Typical applications for KANTHAL 145 R 10 are in circuit breakers, motor protection units, ammeters etc.

High-expansive component: 15-7 Alloy(440 Designation, 42.1% of thickness)

Low-expansive component: Invar 145 Alloy (430 Designation, 42.7% of thickness)

Intermediate component: Copper (470 Designation, 15.2% of thickness)
