Lanxess Antilux® 500 L Wax
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Function: Wax to protect rubber articles against cracking caused by ozone and weathering influences

Use: Antilux 500 L owing to its reduced solubility migrates to the surface of the vulcanizates where it forms a complete protective film which remains stable at temperatures up to about 30 °C. The formation of the protective film takes place at a medium-fast rate. Antioxidants are carried to the surface of the vulcanizate by the migration of Antilux 500 L. The technological effect is comparable to the one of Antilux 500.

Application: Rubber articles which come in contact with foodstuffs, toys, surgical, and pharmaceutical rubber articles
