Mallard Creek Polymers Rovene® 4305 Carboxylated Styrene-Butadiene Emulsion
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE); Styrene Butadiene Rubber

Material Notes: ROVENE® 4305 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a very soft hand and neither contains nor evolves formaldehyde during cure. This non-woven and textile binder offers outstanding water and solvent resistance when formulated with external crosslinkers. It gives good adhesion to polyester as well as cellulosic substrates and was designed to have excellent pad roll stability for paper saturation.
APPLICATIONS: ROVENE® 4305 is recommended for non-woven and textile applications that require a soft and strong backcoating. Its ability to be crosslinked with external crosslinkers has extended its uses in textile and nonwovens where high solvent and water resistance is required. ROVENE® 4305 has also found extensive use in paper saturation for paper tape applications.
