Material Notes: Doverphos 253 is dioleyl hydrogen phosphite. It is a liquid dialkyl phosphite with a relatively high molecular weight and low phosphorus content. Doverphos 253 can be used as a co-stabilizer with mixed metal stabilizers used in PVC applications, but the main use for it is in lube applications as an additive for metalworking fluids. Typical use levels can range from 0.1 to 3.0%.
