Polikim High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE)

Material Notes: High density polyethylene is preferred when resistance to chemicals and weather is the priority. As it can be supplied in large dimensions and can be welded, its use in construction of tanks and waste water purification applications is ideal. It must not be treated equal to Ulpolen® group of products. There are some principal differences between the two types among which wear resistance is the major one. Wear resistance of high density polyethylene is distinctively lower.
