Chemically Resistant adhesives

Lehvoss LUVOCOM® 16/XCF/25 Polyarylamide with carbon fiber  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyarylamide (PAA)

Material Notes: Properties/attributes include: Very strong and stiff parts; low coefficient of thermal expansion. Electrically conductive, suitable for continuous discharging of statically-generated electricity. Low influence from moisture and temperature to measures and electrical properties, compared with PA66 Suitable for metal inserts.

Automotive industry, textile- and office machinery, apparatus- and precision engineering. Typical uses include: Bearings, sleeves, sliding elements, control disks, gear wheels, duty parts in switches.

Processing: During processing the moisture level should not exceed 0.1%, otherwise molecular degradation and surface defects (e.g. smearing) may occur. Excessively high predrying temperatures may cause discoloration. The processing notes provided merely represent a recommendation for general use. Due to the large variety of machines, geometries and volumes of parts, etc., it may be necessary to employ different settings according to the specific application.
