Phillips 66 Tacna® M5 Grease NLGI Grade 2
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant; Lithium Gellant; Organic Soap Gellant

Material Notes: Description: Conoco Tacna M5 Grease is a high-performance, lithium-complex grease with 5% molybdenum disulfide specifically designed for extreme loading conditions. The combination of highly refined base oil and moly as a solid lubricant provides superior wear protection for extra heavily loaded equipment, such as Caterpillar 5000 series and Le Tourneau mining equipment. Balanced antiwear and EP additives provide excellent wear protection under even extreme operating conditions with the ability to work as a true “multipurpose” grease. One grease for all equipment helps prevent damaging misapplication. Good water washout properties also help ensure the grease stays where it needs to be, in critical machinery. Suitable for use in most centralized lubrication systems where the small particle size of molybdenum disulfide (<5 microns) avoids filtering problems and enhances wear protection. Successful field applications in Caterpillar 5000 series equipment make this product an excellent choice. It is not compatible with aluminum complex grease.

This grease is oxidation inhibited, rust inhibited, corrosion inhibited, contains extreme pressure additive and an antiwear additive.
