Material Notes:	Claytone 3, an organoclay, is recommended as a rheological additive in oil based fluids and drilling muds. Claytone 3 is a high quality thixotrope suitable for use in low aromatic oils and synthetic solvents. In addition to imparting excellent rheological properties, Claytone 3 increases the carrying capacity and hole cleaning capabilities of the mud. Additionally, temperature and emulsion stability will be increased and fluid loss decreased. Uses & Advantages: Use in low aromatic or synthetic oil based drilling muds requiring rheological modification. Directed at fluids that utilize synthetic or low aromatic oils. Use in oil muds that are to be used as packer fluids or for stabilizer of stored muds. Available in either 50 lb. or 25 Kg bags. Economical, convenient, and safe to handle, mix, and store.
