Water-based primer for polyethylene extrusion and anchor coating Michem® Flex P1309 may applied via flexo, gravure or smooth roll coater. It can be diluted 1:1 with water or with a 50:50 pre-mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol prior to use. It has good compatibility with both Ethanol & Methanol but limited compatibility in IPA solvent. It is recommended that IPA must always be diluted with water before use. It is recommended to corona or flame-treat substrates prior to priming and dry thoroughly with hot, circulating air. This product is highly recommended for application in-line to a target coat weight on film substrates of 0.025 0.075 dry g/m2. This product was specifically designed for and is available only in Asia. Usage: A primer for film, metalized film, printed film and paper substrates promoting excellent adhesion to extrusion coated resins, resulting in high bond strength for dry and low moisture content products. Michem Flex P1309 creates very strong
