Description: An advanced ceramic composite for the repair and protection of all metal surfaces subjected to severe erosion, abrasion and chemical attack. It is applied at a thickness of 6 mm (1/4”) or more. Non-Shrinking, 100% solids. ARC MX1 is formulated with a high concentration of ceramic beads and fine ceramic particles for extremely abrasive environments where superior protection is desirable. ARC MX1 is applied to a primed surface by trowel or it may be molded where close tolerances and a smooth finish are necessary. It is chosen over ARC 890 and 897 when increased abrasion protection is required. Benefits: - Outlasts other wear resistant materials and coatings by 5-7 times.
- Excellent wear characteristics extend equipments’ operating cycles
- Outwears weld overlay or ceramic tiles
- Tough resin structure resists thermal-mechanical shock
- May be molded to precise dimensions for critical tolerances
- Performs well under fluctuating chemical environments.
Suggested Uses: - Pulverizers
- Dredge Pumps
- Hoppers and Silos
- Tile Lined Conveyor Screws
- CD4/Ni-Hard/Hordox Slurry pumps and pipe Elbows
- Fans/Blowers/Cyclones
- Transport Pipelines for Abrasives
- Metal Clad Exhaust Fan Housing
- Ceramic Tile Lined Chutes
- Ceramic Tile or Rubber Lined Deflector Hoods
