Material Notes:	Product highlights: CAB-O-SIL® CLARUS™ 3140 fumed silica offers a wide range of properties. It enables transparency, reinforcement, and ease of compounding to final products. CAB-O-SIL® CLARUS™ 3140 fumed silica is especially suited for high transparency elastomer preparation with silicone gum as a matrix. This product allows for easy dispersion by conventional compounding mixers. It is suitable for high temperature vulcanized (HTV) silicone elastomer formulations that require excellent transparency and reinforcement. It also enables excellent aging resistance at a wide temperature range between -40°C and 200°C. Key applications: CAB-O-SIL® CLARUS™ 3140 fumed silica is suitable for use in high transparency silicone elastomers. Information provided by Cabot Corporation
