Sandvik Kanthal 135 R 05 Thermostatic bimetal

Material Notes: KANTHAL 135 R 05 is a thermostatic bimetal which is recommended for use in the temperature range -20 to +250°C. In extreme cases it can be used at temperatures up to a maximum of +400°C.

Typical applications for KANTHAL 135 R 05 are in circuit breakers, motor protection units, ammeters etc.

High-expansive component: 15-7 Alloy(440 Designation, 25.3% of thickness)

Low-expansive component: Invar 145 Alloy (430 Designation, 44.7% of thickness)

Intermediate component: Copper (470 Designation, 30% of thickness)
