Trinseo Plexiglas® V045i Acrylic
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Acrylic (PMMA); Acrylic, General Purpose, Molded

Material Notes: Plexiglas® V045i is an impact modified thermoplastic acrylic resin formulated for injection molding and extrusion applications. It is characterized by its chemical and heat resistance as well a high melt flow. It has higher impact strength than Plexiglas® V045 for improved fabrication. It offers an excellent balance between melt flow and increased resistance to breakage, while providing weatherability superior to that provided by other high-impact plastics.

Appearance: Clear/Transparent; Colors Available; Opaque; Translucent

Characteristics: High Clarity; Scratch Resistant; High Clarity; Good Color Stability; Good Dimensional Stability; Low Shrinkage; Good Thermal Stability; Good UV Resistance; Good Weather Resistance; Good Toughness; Good Flow, Good Mold Release

Arkema has sold the American Plexiglas® product line to Trinseo, finalized in 2021.
