Material Notes: TROGAMID® CW1420 is an impact modified, transparent polyamide for the manufacture of parts according the injection molding procedure. TROGAMID® CW1420 is supplied as spherical pellets in moisture-proof polyethylene packaging. The manufacturer recommends a melt temperature between 280°C and 300°C during the injection molding process. The mold temperature should be within a range of 60°C to 80°C. Drying between 80°C to 90°C for 8 to 12 hours before processing is recommended. Deviations of molds or in processing are possible to a certain extent, if they are required by the cavity or the process itself.
