| Claytone EM is a very rapid dispersing organoclay gellant which quickly develops yield at low shear and in cold, low aromatic content oils where other organoclays fail. Claytone EM is especially effective in formulations with very low water content. The extremely strong shear thinning properties and good fluid loss characteristics at high temperatures and pressure enable faster drilling rates, faster flow rates, and improved hole cleaning than with conventional organoclays. Claytone EM is manufactured under a strict quality control program which assures the user of consistent performance in all oil mud systems.
