Lewatit® K 6367 is a strongly basic (type I), gel-type resin based on a copolymer of styrene and divinylbezene. By the presence of large beads, connected with a monodisperse particle size distribution of the beads, the flow through the resin bed happens homogeneously and with a comparatively low pressure loss. At the same time, the risk of accumulation of suspended solid particles is significantly lower than in the case of ion-exchange resins with a “standard distribution of bead size’. Reaction parameters can be maintained in even tighter tolerances, if the catalyst is used in flow processes. The Lewatit K 6367 is particularly suitable for:- The recovery of uranium form alkaline and acidic process streams
- The removal and recovery of heavy metal anionic complexes such as the chloride and cyanide solutions.
