Material Notes: Carbon-silicon steel plate - low to intermediate tensile strength

Carbon content increases with the thickness of the plate. Maximum thickness is 305 mm. Plates wider than 610 mm are tested in the transverse direction and the elongation requirement is reduced 2.0%
