Georgia Gulf 5006 White is a rigid PVC pellet compound designed for extrusion of rigid PVC house siding, window profiles and various contours where maximum weather resistance is required. Georgia Gulf 5006 White is widely used for window profiles and house siding. Twin screw extruded sheet and kick panels are also produced. USDA approval allows 5006 to be used for walk-in cooler walls, refrigerated truck panels and associated profiles. Single or twin screw machines may be used to convert Georgia Gulf 5006 White. It has been designed with excellent impact at ambient temperatures. The high flexural and tensile strength makes it highly suitable for structural installation. The extrusion flow characteristics are excellent, and complicated panel profiles are easily filled out, requiring a minimum of pull-down. Information provided by Georgia Gulf Georgia Gulf became Axiall Corporation, which was later acquired by Westlake Plastics. This specific grade is discontinued. |
