DuPont Teijin Films Mylar® AHS1 Polyester Film, 92 Gauge
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP; Polyester Film

Material Notes: Mylar® AHS1 is a strong, tough, and durable PET film with an unusual balance of properties. It is used for many industrial and electrical applications.

General Product Info: Mylar® ASH1 has a tensile strength that averages 28,000 psi, has excellent resistance to moisture and most chemicals, and exceptional durability in high-temperature environments. Because it contains no plasticizers Mylar® AHS1 does not become brittle with age under normal conditions.

Typical Applications: Mylar® AHS1 is a unique product whose shrinkage and high resistance to deformation make it well suited for applications such as carbon ribbons and electrical insulation.

Approvals: UL 94 VTM-2 - for 92 - 500 gauge (0.023 - 0.13mm)
