DuPont Teijin Films Mylar® M461 Polyester Film, 92 Gauge
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyester, TP; Polyester Film

Material Notes: Mylar® M461 is a tough, general purpose, untreated polyester film. It is transparent in 48 through 300 gauge and translucent in heavier gauges. Mylar® M461 is based on DuPont Teijin Film's RSX film type.

Mylar® M461 has balanced tensile properties and excellent resistance to moisture and most chemicals. It can withstand temperature extremes from -94 to 302°F. Mylar® M461 does not become brittle with age under normal conditions because it does not contain plasticizers.

Typical Applications: Mylar® M461 film is used primarily as a base for pressure sensitive tapes.
